\/>\n<b>November 7th to 10th, 2020<\/b><\/p>\n<p>You are invited to submit works for the SBGames 2020 Education track on the following topics:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Literacy and literacy with games<\/li>\n<li>Learning based on digital games<\/li>\n<li>Evaluation of educational games<\/li>\n<li>e-Sports and education<\/li>\n<li>Games and distance education (or eLearning)<\/li>\n<li>Games and learning<\/li>\n<li>Games and evaluation<\/li>\n<li>Games in education<\/li>\n<li>Gamification in education<\/li>\n<li>Pedagogical principles of digital games<\/li>\n<li>Design and development of digital games for education<\/li>\n<li>Serious games<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In addition to the works that address digital games on its most varied platforms, we also strongly encourage the submission of research that focuses on \u201canalog\u201d games &#8211; card games, board games, table RPGs, escape rooms and live-action &#8211; as well as those we have identified as \u201cmixed\u201d (alternate, augmented, locative reality games, etc.).<\/p>\n<h3>Observations<\/h3>\n<p>Works primarily focused on:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Game design (including its narrative, aesthetic, artistic, visual and sound aspects) must be submitted to the Arts &amp; Design track;<\/li>\n<li>Computing applied to games must be submitted to the computing track;<\/li>\n<li>Exploration of the social and cultural aspects of the games that must be submitted to the culture trail;<\/li>\n<li>Aspects of administration, business, finance, economics, marketing and sales, operations and logistics, law and public gaming policies should be submitted to the industry trail;<\/li>\n<li>Teaching game design or any other aspect related to the game universe, which involves less of its use in the learning process, should not be described in this track.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you have any questions about the classification of your work on any track, consult the track coordinators. In any case, the suitability of your work for the tracks will be assessed by the track coordinators, which may suggest a new classification for your submission.<\/p>\n<h3>Formats of Works<\/h3>\n<p>Papers can be sent in two formats: short papers and full papers, both in Portuguese and in English.<\/p>\n<p><b>Full papers <\/b>are works that present researches already completed or in an advanced stage of completion. They must have a minimum of seven (7) pages and a maximum of ten (10) pages, including references and attachments, using the format adopted by the event;<\/p>\n<p><b>Short papers <\/b>are works that show research in the initial stage of development, or even completed research, at the undergraduate or graduate level. A maximum of four (4) pages, including references and attachments, must be in the format adopted by the event.<\/p>\n<p>All submissions must be original, that is, novel works not published or presented in any type of events for scientific dissemination. Any work that has been published, or is being published recently at events (including previous versions of SBGames or other SBGames tracks in 2020) or journals, will be rejected. In the evaluation process, the scientific contribution of the work, its originality, the appropriate use of theory and methodology and recommendations will be applied (it is strongly recommended to also refer to works published in previous editions of SBGames, as well as internationally conducted research).<\/p>\n<h3>Publication<\/h3>\n<p>All accepted papers (full and short papers) will be published in full in the Proceedings of SBGAMES 2020 and must be presented by one of its authors, whom must be registered in the event. To this end, the author must agree to the SBC&#8217;s Term of Rights and provide a final version in the format required by the event.<\/p>\n<p>Please read the SBC\u2019s Assignment of Rights Statement before submitting your work. Authors who do not agree with the terms of publication should not submit their work.<\/p>\n<h3>Presentation<\/h3>\n<p>Bearing in mind that the event will be entirely online, or the presentation format of the full articles and is still being discussed by the organizing committee of SBGames 2020. This information will be disclosed in advance.<\/p>\n<p>For both full and short papers, at least one author must be registered, attend online and present the work at SGames 2020, otherwise the text will not be published in the Proceedings of the event. Any exception to this rule will only be valid if authorized by the track coordinators.<\/p>\n<h3>Blind Review System<\/h3>\n<p>Submissions will be made electronically through the <b><a href=\"https:\/\/jems.sbc.org.br\/home.cgi?c=3649\">JEMS portal<\/a><\/b>. The works will be submitted to the Blind Review system (blind evaluation). In this system, authors cannot include information that allows their identification (name, affiliation, explanation of the author in references, project names, etc.). Papers that disobey the Blind Review system will be automatically rejected.<\/p>\n<h3>Format for Full and Short Papers<\/h3>\n<p>Detailed instructions for formatting papers, including templates, are available in the submissions section of the website. As a placeholder for the information omitted by the Blind Review (name, affiliation, etc.) the tag BLIND REVIEW must be used. If the work is approved, this tag must then be replaced with the correct data before sending the final version.<\/p>\n<h3>Copyright Form<\/h3>\n<p>It is essential that the authors send this term to have their work published.
