font-size: 20pt; break-after: avoid; text-align: center;\">Proceedings SBGames 2020<\/h1>\n<p>ISSN: 2179-2259<\/p>\n<h2>Preface<\/h2>\n<p>SBGames (Brazilian Symposium on Computer Games and Digital Entertainment) is the largest and most important event for games and digital entertainment in Latin America. It is attended by scientists, artists, designers, teachers, and students from colleges, universities, research centers, and the game industry. SBGames is the main conference of the Special Committee of Games and Digital entertainment of SBC (Brazilian Computer Society), which is also supported by ABRAGAMES (Brazilian Association of Digital Game Developers).<\/p>\n<p>In 2020, SBGames is organized by the Digital Games course at the Catholic University of Pernambuco (UNICAP) and the Center of Informatics of the Federal University of Pernambuco (CIn\/UFPE), both institutions from Recife, Pernambuco, Brazil, and will be held between November 7th and 10th. In this edition, the SBGames will be realized jointly with three other events, the SVR (Symposium on Virtual and Augmented Reality), the SIBGRAPI (Conference on Graphics, Patterns and Images), and the ISMAR (International Symposium on Mixed and Augmented Reality).<\/p>\n<p>Due to COVID-19 pandemic projections, the XIX SBGames will be held virtually. The same context allowed to deliver a globally accessible experience for the community as a whole. All sessions, keynotes, and other activities will be streamed to the public on open, free of charge, platforms.<\/p>\n<p>SBGames gathers around a thousand participants from all parts of Brazil and other countries, including Peru, Argentina, Uruguay, United States, England, and Portugal. The event has technical sessions, panels, and exhibits distributed in six Conference Tracks: Computing, Arts &amp; Design, Culture, Education, Industry, and the new of Health. Furthermore, there are several activities, such as the Games Festival, Game Art Exhibition, Tutorials, SBGames Kids&amp;Teens, and Diversity in Games. The tracks feature papers and posters, while the Industry track also includes panels and lectures. At last, the Arts and Design track also brings the presentation of Design Cases.<\/p>\n<p>We appreciate the presence of all participants, guest speakers, and especially our sponsors: Unity, Epic Games (Unreal Engine), and CESAR (Recife Center for Advanced Studies and Systems). We would also like to acknowledge the work of all the supporting institutions, researchers, students, and volunteers who have worked for this event.
